Nice fall day ... went looking for a Rusty Blackbird which had been hanging out with a mixed-blackbird flock at a barn on the Lewis River floodplain near Woodland, Washington ... SUCCESS !!! ... spent the day along the roadside attempting to improve images as the lighting improved ...
The Locale:
Woodland Bottoms is the floodplain of the Lewis River. The area is bordered on the north by Burke Slough, on the south by the Lewis River, on the east by Interstate 5, and on the west by the Columbia River.
