"Willow Grove, Washington ... November 8, 2011"

The Trip:    Sunny morning turned into an overcast and gray day ... went north to Willow Grove (along the Columbia River just north of Longview, Washington) to look for the White-tailed Kite which had been seen there over the weekend ... didn't find the Kite but did see an adult Red-shouldered Hawk !!!!!!!! ... beautiful bird. 13 species seen (in alphabetical order): American Crow ... American Kestrel ... Brewer's Blackbird ... Cackling Geese ... Double-crested Cormorant ... Eurasian Collared-Dove ... European Starling ... Gull (species) ... Northern Flicker ... Northern Harrier ...   Red-shouldered Hawk ... Red-tailed Hawk ... Western Scrub-Jay ... Red-shouldered Hawk ...
