"The Dalles, Oregon ... June 4, 2011

The Trip:    beautiful summer day with highs in the mid-80s ... nice and clear, with just a bit of breeze ... went to the Bank Swallow location on Hwy 197, between The Dalles and Dufur ... it's an easy spot to observe Bank Swallows BUT it's also a "heads up, eyes peeled and ears open" spot to pull into and out of, as traffic heading towards The Dalles is coming downhill around a blind turn ...
