The Trip:
Nice sunny summer day, temperatures in the low 80s ... went late-morning, early afternoon, just to walk around ... very quiet bird-wise ... main birds seen were Western Wood-Pewees, Starlings, and Robins.
Sandy River Delta:
The Sandy River meets the Columbia River at Troutdale, Oregon, forming a wide delta. Walking/bicycle paths and an open area dog park line both sides of the Sandy River.

Saw the host "parent" feeding the bottom youngster, but not long enough to ID ... he/she was about the size and coloration of a Sparrow.
