"Mount Tabor, Portland, Oregon ... April 23, 2011
The Trip:    nice sunny spring day ... went mid-morning looking for Warblers and Flycatchers ... found the Nashville and Orange-crowned Warblers only ... saw one flycatcher but not long enough to photograph ... temps in the 70s ... LOTS of people enjoying the park ... not a great photo day as birds were distant and high in the canopy ... best shots were of the Bushtit !!! ... Canon Rebel T2i, 300mm.

The Locale:    Mount Tabor is a small cincer cone located in northeast Portland, Oregon ... during April and May it is a wonderful location for Flycatchers and Warblers ... To see a listing of birds seen or photographed in this area ... CLICK HERE.
