The Trip:
LATE afternoon with settng sun, but hurried over to Heron Lakes Golf Course to see if we could find the Brant which had been seen there that afternoon ... SUCCESS !!!!!! ... my FIRST Brant !!!! ... images shot a about 1/30 to 1/100 but got a couple nice ones ... Canon 7d, 400mm lens ... there were LOTS of duck species there but we didn't take the time to look at them ... the sun was going down and the goal was the Brant ...
Heron Lakes Gold Course is located behind Portland's Expo Center, just south of Hayden Island, Portland, Oregon.
