Nashville Warbler:
The Nashville Warbler (Vermivora ruficapilla) was named in 1811 by Alexander Wilson, who first observed the species in Nashville, Tennessee. Despite its name the Nashville Warbler is not a local resident and only passes through the are during migration.
There are two breeding populations of Nashville Warbler. One, a mid-to-northeastern variety which doesn't wag its tail, and the other, a Pacific Coast variety which does wag its tail. The Pacific Coast Nashville Warbler was once considered a separate species and was called the "Calaveras Warbler".
