One overcast day:
Spent one overcast and gray saturday morning either looking out the picture window, or sitting on the patio, photographing birds which came to the backyard ... camera used was the 11 megapixel Fuji s100fs, a camera in the "superzoom" category ... IMHO a great non-DSLR camera to use ... yes, a bit slow maybe and a bit grainy when blown up, but it has decent depth-of-field and is my choice for a quick all-around leave-it-by-the-window camera ... and that's what we do ... we keep it in a small yellow toolbox so it's easily spotted, making the camera IMMEDIATELY available to photograph a bird which comes to the feeder ... it is my husband's choice to grab over all my DSLRs sitting around ... note, all images shown here were cropped for best presentation and all were sharpened 10% ... enjoy this "one overcast day" webpage ... click on each image to enlarge.
